Astrid Hallén, known for her role as Lizzy Siddal in 'Private Death of Lizzy Siddal' (2020), was a prominent figure in the Pre-Raphaelite circle during the Victorian era. Born in 1829, she was renowned for her modeling work and became addicted to Laudanum, an opium-based painkiller widely used at that time. In 1862, she married the influential painter and poet Gabriel Rossetti.
