Born as Carla Nieto i Geli, the Spanish actress and writer was born on November 30, 1983, in Girona, Catalonia, Spain. She is the daughter of Spanish politician Marina Geli and amateur actor Rafael Nieto. After studying Hispanic Philology and Dramatic Art in Barcelona, she moved to Madrid to pursue her professional acting career. She rose to prominence with her role as Claudia in the series El síndrome de Ulises (2007–2008) and made her film debut in movies like Las 13 rosas and Café solo o con ellas. Beyond her television work in series like Acusados and Ángel o demonio, she is widely recognized for her roles in films such as [REC] 3: Genesis and the drama Trash.
