"Cheryl Dempsey's ambition to appear nude as often as possible on her cinematic debut was fulfilled through her portrayal of Fanny Hill in the 1999 British softcore film 'Fanny Hill'. This romantic period piece, based on John Cleland's novel published in 1749 and originally banned in the U.S., is filled with soft lighting, gentle music, and elegant stockings. The story follows Fanny Hill, an innocent orphan who moves to London and becomes a prostitute. Unlike the source material's political satire and philosophical musings on sex, the film takes a lighter approach, blending comedy and drama. Naturally, in her role as a kept woman in a brothel, Cheryl Dempsey bares all, displaying her buttocks and vagina frequently throughout the film.
