Standing at 5'7", she initially made waves as a star player on her middle school basketball team, but her ambitions extended beyond sports, aiming to make it in Hollywood instead of the WNBA. Her cinematic debut came as Kim in the raunchy teen comedy 'Road Trip' (2000), alongside Breckin Meyer. She subsequently portrayed Whitney in 'Virgins' (2001), Doreen Gilmore in 'She Gets What She Wants' (2002) with Piper Perabo, and notably as the 'Hot Girl' in 'Sorority Boys' (2002), featuring Barry Watson from 7th Heaven. Coppen also delivered a standout performance as Kate in the comedy-drama 'The Flats' (2002).
