Elena Simonova was born on November 4, 1963, in Leningrad, Russia, USSR (now St. Petersburg, Russia). In 1985 she graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Theatre, Music, and Cinematography as an actress. Since 1985 Simonova has been a permanent member of the troupe at the Theatre of Komissarzhevskoi in St. Petersburg. Her partners on stage and in film were Galina Korotkevich , Natalya Danilova , Tatyana Samarina , Yefim Kamenetsky , Georgiy Korolchuk , Stanislav Landgraf , Boris Sokolov, Pyotr Shelokhonov , and other notable Russian actors Elena Simonova was designated the title of Honorable Artist of Russia. She also played roles in popular Russian film and television productions. She is currently residing in St. Petersburg, Russia.
