Leisha Hailey was born Leisha Neale in Okinawa, Japan on July 16, 1976. She moved to Los Angeles with her family at a young age and later pursued acting. She gained significant recognition for her role as Alice Pieszeck in the television series 'The L Word' (2004-2009), playing one of the main characters who navigates relationships and personal growth alongside other lesbian friends in Los Angeles.
