Lena Münchow starred in 'Fritz Lang' (2016), a film based on real events surrounding the making of Fritz Lang's thriller 'M - A City is Looking for a Murderer'. The story is set in 1930, when Lang was seeking material for his next film, a sound film. During his research, he encountered reports about a serial killer from Düsseldorf and traveled to the Rhineland to investigate alongside crime commissioner Ernst. In the course of this investigation, Lang met Anna, a friend of one of the victims who resembled Lang's first wife Lisa.
