Lorena Castanheira is a Brazilian actress, producer, and journalist who has established herself as a significant figure in the Brazilian independent film scene. She graduated from the University of Brasília (UnB) with a degree in Journalism, which provided her with a strong communicative foundation for her later work in the audiovisual sector.
Castanheira is perhaps best known for her dual role as a lead actress and producer in the mystery-drama "Christabel" (2018), where she portrayed the character Geraldine. Her career is marked by a close professional collaboration with director Alex Levy-Heller, having also starred in his 2019 film "Young Polacas" (Jovens Polacas) as Sarah. Beyond her acting credits, she is a driving force behind Alelo Filmes, a production company where she has spearheaded several feature films and variety series.
Her television work includes appearances in popular Brazilian productions such as the Rede Globo telenovela "A Dona do Pedaço" and series like "One Against All" (1 Contra Todos) and "Os Homens São de Marte... E é pra Lá que Eu Vou".
