Marie Ahrle, born in Stockholm, Sweden on January 13, 1927, began her acting career during the 1940s. She gained significant recognition for her role as Beatrice in the 1966 Swedish drama 'Jag - en älskare'. In this film, Beatrice leaves her impotent husband Petar to be with her lover Isac. The story explores themes of infidelity and jealousy when Beatrice's relationship with Isac is discovered by Petar's friend Ole's wife Sigrid.
