Born on October 18, 1983, in the Dominican Republic, the actress known professionally as Mercedes Raquel (often credited as Miss Raquel) is a Dominican-American performer of mixed Italian, Portuguese, and Dominican descent. While she is widely recognized by her stage name, her full legal birth name has remained private throughout her career.
Since entering the entertainment industry in 2008, she has become a prolific figure in independent action and genre cinema, amassing over 170 credits.
