Mirta Ibarra starred in the 1993 film 'Fresa y chocolate', portraying a heterosexual communist young man named David who initially struggles with his prejudices and doctrinal ideas, but eventually forms a great friendship with Diego, a cultivated homosexual character despite their differences.
