Réka Babócsai is a Hungarian actress born in Békéscsaba in 1990. She established her acting career through rigorous training at several prestigious institutions. From 2009 to 2012, she studied at the Pesti Magyar Színiakadémia (Hungarian Theatre Academy in Pest), and later, from 2017 to 2020, she continued her education at the Színház- és Filmművészeti Egyetem (University of Theatre and Film Arts).

Her professional career began at the Jókai Theatre in Békéscsaba, where she worked from 2012 to 2014. In 2015, she joined the company of the Gárdonyi Géza Theatre in Eger, where she has performed a wide variety of roles, ranging from ingénue parts to more complex, villainous characters, as well as young and old, male, and female roles. Her notable stage roles include Cordelia in Shakespeare's King Lear, Ophelia in Hamlet, and Beatrice in Goldoni's Servant of Two Masters.

In film and television, Babócsai is known for several works. She appeared in the TV series Családi kör (Family Circle) starting in 1999. Her film appearances include the 2016 film Nincs kegyelem (No Mercy), as requested, and more notably, she played a role in the critically acclaimed 2021 film Wild Roots (Külön falka).
