Rosalind Allen, born Rosalind Ingledew, is a New Zealand-born actress who studied acting in her home country before moving to the United States. She made her film debut in Perfect (1985) and has maintained a sustained career in both television and film. She is notably remembered for her role as the "It girl" in the Seinfeld episode "The Marine Biologist" (1994). Allen has held series-regular roles on daytime and nighttime television, including All My Children (1970) and Steven Spielberg's SeaQuest 2032 (1993), and has appeared in a wide range of comedic and dramatic roles over two decades. Her acting training includes study at Playhouse West, Cameron Thor, and Charles Conrad Studios in Los Angeles. In recent years, she has been involved in theatre, television commercials, teaching acting, and directing award-winning theatrical productions.
