Born as Sharon Leigh Bruneau on February 1, 1964, in the mining town of Timmins, Ontario, Canada, she is a celebrated fitness icon of Métis heritage. Initially finding success as a fashion model in Toronto, her career path shifted dramatically after a severe bout of pneumonia led her to weight training for rehabilitation. This transition transformed her into a premier professional bodybuilder and fitness competitor, eventually earning her the title of "Bodybuilding's No. 1 pin-up".
Beyond the fitness world, Bruneau expanded into acting and hosting.
