After honing her craft at the Palmi Drama School in Reggio Calabria, Teresa debuted on screen in 1995 with a minor role in Il Verificatore. In Anna Negri's romantic comedy, In principio erano le mutande (also known as In the Beginning There Was Underwear), released in 1999, Teresa showcased both her comedic timing and her figure, with scenes featuring her bare breasts during a bath and some passionate encounters.
