Zoé Bruneau was born between 1981 and 1982, the daughter of actors Philippe Bruneau and Claire Nadeau, and granddaughter of publisher Maurice Nadeau. She began her career in theater before transitioning to film and television. Her breakout role came in 2014 with Jean-Luc Godard's 'Adieu au langage', for which she later wrote a book.
