Resumen
In a futuristic metropolis, two worlds collide: the lavish city of the elite and the grim undercity of the workers. Freder Fredersen, heir to the city's throne, descends into the depths, where he encounters Maria, a visionary worker who foretells the arrival of a mediator between classes. Enamored, Freder brings Maria topside, igniting chaos when she speaks truth to power. Meanwhile, his father conspires with the mad scientist Rotwang to create a mechanical doppelganger of Maria to sway the workers' loyalties. As tensions boil over, Freder must choose sides and prevent catastrophe.
