Known for her role as Kate Lawrence on 'The Waltons' (1972-1981), she later starred in the horror film 'Mortuary' (1983). She also appeared in the political drama series 'The West Wing' (1999-2006). McDonough's marriage to Don, on June 4, 2011, followed a previous union with Rob Wickstrom.
